About PSG Bursary

PSG is a leading independent financial services group that has been in operation since 1998 with almost 200 offices throughout South Africa and a presence in both Namibia and Mauritius. The company provides a wide range of financial products and services to individuals and enterprises such as financial planning, investments, unit trusts, stockbroking, life insurance, healthcare, estate and trust services, and personal and commercial short-term insurance.

Reciepients of the PSG bursary will be given financial assistance in their undergraduate final year or postgraduate programme. Most expenses will be covered by PSG, including tuition fees, textbook allowances. Reciepients also get access:

  • Mentoring, coaching and support
  • Entrance into the PSG graduate programme
  • Working experience within the financial services industry

How to Be Eligible for the PSG Bursary

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must have completed Matric
  • You must be studying towards one of the required programmes of study (listed below)
  • You must be an Honours or Masters student (or a final year student if studying Engineering)
  • You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65%
  • You must be interested in pursuing a career in the financial services industry
  • You must be ambitious
  • You must be able to work well under pressure
  • You must be resilient
  • You must be energetic
  • You must be solution oriented
  • You must be able to work well in a team
  • You must pay close attention to detail

For you to be considered eligible for the PSG bursary, you must be studying one of the courses listed below at at a South African University:

  • IT (Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Informatics, Project Management, Software Development, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence)
  • Engineering (Electrical, Electronic and Computer, Mechanical, Industrial)
  • Commerce (Investments, Finance, Economics and Econometrics)
  • Actuarial Science
  • Statistics
  • Mathematics and Applied Mathematics

  2. After registering, you can login
  3. Apply for PSG bursary
