ISFAP Bursary 2024 – How to Apply

About ISFAP Bursary

The Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme (ISFAP) is a public benefit organization that helps poor/middle-class students in South Africa by raising funds from various sources such as government institutions, fintechs, non-profit organizations etc. which will be used to fund their tertiary education.

The bursary will cover various expenses such as: tuition fees, books, accommodation, meal stipend and a cash allowance. This bursary is closing its applications one the 31st of October, 2023.

How to Be Eligible

To be considered eligible for the ISFAP bursary, you have to meet the following requirements:

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
  • You must have been accepted to study at one of the partnering public tertiary institutions, towards one of the qualifications listed (below), in 2024
  • You must be starting your first year of undergraduate studies in the 2024 academic year
  • You must have a family household income NOT more than R600 000 per annum
  • You must be in financial need and require funding for your studies
