The Siyandisa Foundation invites students to apply for their scholarship programme for the 2024 academic year. This scholarship aims to provide South African students in Grade 12 and at the tertiary level with the necessary resources, funding, support and guidance to achieve excellence.
The Siyandisa Foundation Scholarship Programme is managed by the Siyandisa Foundation and grows excellence by identifying future leaders, entrepreneurs, academics, owners and managers and investing in them through our unique programme. The programme identifies top black and female Grade 12 learners with demonstrated academic excellence under difficult conditions and invests in them with technology, training, mentorship, counselling, internships, bursaries and future employment opportunities.
About the Siyandisa Foundation Scholarship
The following are the benefits a student gain if the Siyandisa scholarship is awarded to them:
Programme Support: Recipients have access to a dedicated programme coordinator team that assists with general administration, support and coordination. All programme activities, communication and engagement are centrally coordinated and managed through the programme coordinator team.
Scholarship Pack: Recipients each receive a tablet device, with a protective cover, backpack, Vodacom data package for scholarship use, and integrated communication tools for calls, video chats and webinars.
Eligibility Criteria
For a student or applicant to be considered eligible for the Siyandisa scholarship, he/she must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be entering Matric (Grade 12) in 2024
- Must have obtained a minimum overall average of 80% in Grade 11
- Must be enrolled in a quintile 1-3 school
How to Apply for The Siyandisa Foundation Scholarship
There is no application form for this scholarship, so if you want to apply, just submit copies of the supporting documentation to this email [email protected]. The documents to be submitted are:
- ID document/ birth certificate
- Grade 11 final report
- Your contact number and email address
- Parent’s or guardian’s ID documents
- Parent’s or guardian’s contact number
- School principal’s name, surname and contact number
- Name of the province where you reside
